Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 excusing or warning, 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what could make thee conceive what that Day of Distinction will be? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 for an appointed time? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
