Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 for an appointed time? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 as black camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
