Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For what day is it timed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 For a known term? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 So like golden camels." 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
