Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 And those that strike violently, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 For a known term? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
