Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
