Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 Till a limit known? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
