In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
