Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what day is it timed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 Till a limit known? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
