Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 storming tempestuously 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 For a known term? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
