Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 As justification or warning, 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what day is it timed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 and place it in a secure place 21 Till an appointed term, 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 The living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
