In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 And those that strike violently, 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
