Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 for an appointed term? 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 the living and the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
