Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 and the severally severing 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 As justification or warning, 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 Till an appointed term, 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 for the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
