In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 For a known calculated term. 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
