In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 And those that strike violently, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 for an appointed time? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
