Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
