Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 As justification or warning, 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 For a known term? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
