Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 As justification or warning, 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a known calculated term. 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
