Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what day is it timed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 Till a limit known? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
