Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what day is it timed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 until an appointed time? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
