Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 for an appointed term? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
