Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 Till a limit known? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
