Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 Till a limit known? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
