Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the winds (or angels or the Messengers of Allah) sent forth one after another. 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 For a known extent. 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
