In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 for an appointed term? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
