Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 As justification or warning, 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
