Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 storming tempestuously 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 and have We not set on it proud, firm mountains, and given you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
