Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 until an appointed time? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 for the living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
