Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 As justification or warning, 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a known term? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 as black camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
