Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 And those that strike violently, 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 excusing or warning, 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 the living and the dead? 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
