In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 separating one from another, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 As justification or warning, 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 For a known extent. 22 Eat and enjoy for a while: You are certainly sinners. 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 "Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches." 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
