O you who have attained to faith! Be conscious of God with all the consciousness that is due to Him, and do not allow death to overtake you ere you have surrendered yourselves unto Him. 102 Hold fast together to the cable of Allah and be not divided. Remember the blessing that Allah bestowed upon you: you were once enemies then He brought your hearts together, so that through His blessing you became brothers. You stood on the brink of a pit of fire and He delivered you from it. Thus Allah makes His signs clear to you that you may be guided to the right way. 103 Let there be a group among you who will invite others to do good deeds, command them to obey the Law, and prohibit them from committing sins. These people will have eternal happiness. 104 And be not like those who became divided and disagreed after clear arguments had come to them, and these it is that shall have a grievous chastisement. 105 On the Day when some faces would be bright, and some others will be black (with despair), those with black faces (will be told): "Having come to the faith you denied it; now taste therefore the penalty for you disbelieved." 106 But as for those with shining faces, they shall abide forever in God's grace. 107 These are God's messages: We convey them unto thee, setting forth the truth, since God wills no wrong to His creation. 108 Allah's is whatsoever is in the heavens and in the earth; and unto Allah shall be committed all affairs. 109
