The News (Al-Naba')
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej) before The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ What do they quarrel about? 1 About the great news - 2 That over which they are in disagreement. 3 But they will soon come to know. 4 Again, indeed, they shall know! 5 Have We not made the earth as a cradle 6 And the mountains as pegs? 7 And (have We not) created you in pairs, 8 and We have made your sleep [a symbol of] death 9 and made the night [its] cloak 10 And We made the day for seeking livelihood. 11 And (have We not) built over you the seven firmaments, 12 And We made a shining lamp, 13 And then sent down hard rain from the water bearing clouds. 14 That We may produce therewith corn and vegetables, 15 And orchards full of trees and interlacing boughs. 16 Verily the Day of Sorting out is a thing appointed, 17 The day when the Trumpet will be blown – you will therefore come forth in multitudes. 18 and heaven is opened, having gates, 19 The mountains put in motion turning into a mirage. 20 [On that Day,] verily, hell will lie in wait [for those who deny the truth] 21 a return for the insolent, 22 They will abide therein for ages. 23 tasting therein neither coolness nor any drink 24 But boiling and intensely cold water, 25 , A fitting reward. 26 For indeed they did not look forward to any reckoning, 27 And they belied Our revelations with strong belying. 28 and everything We have numbered in a Book. 29 So taste (the fruit of what you sowed), for We shall add nothing but torment, 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
