The News (Al-Naba')
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej) before The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ What do they quarrel about? 1 Of the mighty tiding 2 on which they [so utterly] disagree. 3 Nay, but in time they will come to understand [it]! 4 They will indeed come to know soon. 5 Have We not made the earth as a place to rest 6 The mountains tent-pins? 7 And (have We not) created you in pairs, 8 And made your sleep for rest, 9 And made the night as a covering, 10 and made the day [a symbol of] life. 11 And We have built above you seven strong (heavens), 12 And placed a lamp therein brightly burning. 13 And do We not send down from the clouds water in abundance, 14 to make the seeds, plants, 15 And gardens dense and luxuriant. 16 Indeed the Day of Decision is a time fixed. 17 the Day that the Horn is blown, and you shall come in crowds 18 and the heaven shall be opened, and become gates, 19 And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage. 20 Behold, Gehenna has become an ambush, 21 For the transgressors a place of destination: 22 therein to tarry for ages, 23 Neither coolness shall they taste therein nor any [thirst-quenching] drink 24 Except boiling water, and dirty wound discharges. 25 The reward to each is according to what he is. 26 They indeed hoped not for a reckoning, 27 and roundly denied Our Signs as false. 28 Everything have We recorded in a Book. 29 Therefore taste it now We shall not increase anything for you except the punishment. 30

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
