[But,] verily for the God-conscious there is supreme fulfilment in store: 31 They will have gardens and vineyards, 32 And graceful maidens of the same age, 33 and an overflowing cup. 34 There hear they never vain discourse, nor lying - 35 A reward from your Lord, a gift according to a reckoning: 36 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all whatever is between them – the Most Gracious – with Whom no one will have the right to talk. 37 On that Day, when the Spirit (Gabriel) and the angels stand in ranks they shall not speak, except he to whom the Merciful has given permission, and says what is right. 38 That will be the Day of Ultimate Truth: whoever wills, then, let him take the path that leads towards his Sustainer! 39 We warn you of a punishment that has come near; a day on which man will see what his own hands have sent ahead, and the disbeliever will say, “Alas – if only I were dust!” 40
