Al-Naba' 2 of 2

Surely the state of triumph awaits the God-fearing: 31 Gardens and grapes. 32 And graceful maidens of the same age, 33 and a cup [of happiness] overflowing. 34 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, nor any falsehood; 35 A reward from your Lord, a gift according to a reckoning: 36 From the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatsoever is in between them, the Compassionate with Whom they can demand not audience. 37 The day when Jibreel and all the angels will stand in rows; none will be able to speak except one whom the Most Gracious commands and who spoke rightly. (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to be granted permission to intercede.) 38 That is the Day, the truth, so whosoever wills takes a way to his Lord. 39 Surely We have warned you of a chastisement near at hand: the day when man shall see what his two hands have sent before, and the unbeliever shall say: O! would that I were dust! 40

True are the words of God the Almighty.
