The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the angels who violently tear-out the souls of the disbelievers from their bodies, 1 and those that blow gently, 2 And those who glide swimmingly, 3 And then they speed with foremost speed. 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 On the Day, the shiverer shivers 6 The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be raised up), 7 hearts will throb on that Day 8 Cast down will be (their owners') eyes. 9 The disbelievers say, “Will we really return to our former state?” 10 "What! - when we shall have become rotten bones?" 11 They said: That then would be a return occasioning loss. 12 But it shall be only a single scare, 13 And lo! they will be awakened. 14 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 15 When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 That “Go to Firaun – he has rebelled.” 17 and say [unto him,] 'Art thou desirous of attaining to purity? 18 Then I shall guide thee unto thy Lord so that thou shalt fear. 19 Then he shewed him the great sign. 20 but he belied and disobeyed, 21 and then he turned back to have recourse to his craftiness, 22 Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation, 23 and proclaimed, "I am your supreme Lord," 24 So God seized him with the chastisement of the Last World and the First. 25 Verily herein is lesson for him who feareth. 26
