The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] who extract with violence 1 By the angels who release with gentle release. 2 and float [through space] with floating serene, 3 Then press forward as in a race, 4 and by the angels who regulate the affairs, (you will certainly be resurrected). 5 Upon the day when the first blast shivers 6 What must happen afterwards shall follow it. 7 hearts upon that day shall be athrob 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]? 10 Even after we are crumbled bones? 11 They say: Then that would be a vain proceeding. 12 So that is not but a single shout. 13 and they will be upon the surface of the earth (alive). 14 Has Moses' story reached you? 15 Behold, thy Lord did call to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa:- 16 Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed all bounds (in crimes, sins, polytheism, disbelief, etc.). 17 And say to him, "Would you like to reform yourself? 18 and that I should guide thee to thy Lord, then thou shalt fear?"' 19 Moses showed him the great sign, 20 But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed; 21 and hastily turned away, 22 Then he gathered his people and cried aloud, 23 and said, "I am your Lord All-Highest!" 24 you pay attention 25 surely there is in this a lesson for the God-fearing. 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
