The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence; 1 and gently take it away; 2 And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 On the day when the first trump resoundeth. 6 to be followed by further [convulsions]! 7 Hearts will pound loudly on that day, 8 while eyes will be downcast. 9 They say: "Shall we go back to our original state 10 After having turned to carious bones?" 11 They have said, "Such a resurrection will certainly be a great loss". 12 But it shall be only a single cry, 13 and behold, they are awakened. 14 Has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 15 when his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa, 16 That “Go to Firaun – he has rebelled.” 17 and say to him: 'Are you willing to be purified, 18 Then I will guide thee to thy Lord and thou shalt fear (Him). 19 Moses showed him the great sign, 20 But he rejected (the truth) and disobeyed. 21 Then turned he away in haste, 22 and then he gathered [his great ones,] and called [unto his people,] 23 Saying: "I am alone your lord, the highest of them all." 24 So God seized him for the punishment of the Hereafter and this world. 25 Verily in this is an instructive warning for whosoever feareth (Allah). 26
