The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the angels who drag forth vehemently. 1 and gently take it away; 2 by the angels who float (in the heavens by the will of God), 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 On the day when the first trumpet sound blasts 6 and will be followed by another quaking. 7 hearts will throb on that Day 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 They say: “Shall we indeed be restored to life, 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 It will only be a single blast, 13 And lo! they will be awakened. 14 Hast thou received the story of Moses? 15 When his Lord called upon him in the holy valley, twice, 16 saying, "Go to the Pharaoh. He has transgressed beyond all bounds. 17 "And say to him, 'Wouldst thou that thou shouldst be purified (from sin)?- 18 Then I shall guide thee unto thy Lord so that thou shalt fear. 19 He showed him the mighty sign, 20 In response, he denied and disobeyed. 21 He then turned away, striving in his effort. 22 then he mustered 23 And he said: I am your Lord, most high. 24 you pay attention 25 Verily in this is an instructive warning for whosoever feareth (Allah). 26
