The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the pluckers (the angels of death), violently plucking (the souls of the unbelievers), 1 and gently take it away; 2 And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming 3 Then outpace the others swiftly 4 and thus they fulfil the [Creator's] behest! 5 On the day when the trembling one will tremble. (The disbelievers will certainly taste the punishment.) 6 And the second followeth it, 7 Hearts on that day shall palpitate, 8 Cast down will be (their owners') eyes. 9 They say (now): "What! shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state? 10 “When we have become decayed bones?” 11 They say: “That will then be a return with a great loss!” 12 However, it will only take a single blast 13 and then, lo, they will be fully awakened [to the truth]! 14 HAS THE STORY of Moses ever come within thy ken. 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 That “Go to Firaun he has rebelled.” 17 "And say to him, 'Wouldst thou that thou shouldst be purified (from sin)?- 18 ‘And I may guide you to your Lord, so that you may fear.’” 19 Then he shewed him the great sign. 20 But he denied and disobeyed, 21 Then he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 And assembled (his council) and proclaimed, 23 “I am the supreme lord of you all.” 24 you pay attention 25 Surely, in this there is a lesson for he that fears! 26

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
