By the angels who drag forth vehemently. 1 by the drawers (the angels of death), gently drawing (the souls of the believers), 2 And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming 3 by those that outstrip them suddenly, 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 One Day everything that can be in commotion will be in violent commotion, 6 and the second blast follows it, 7 (Some) hearts that Day will shake with fear and anxiety. 8 While eyes are downcast 9 (Now) they are saying: Shall we really be restored to our first state 10 What, when we are bones old and wasted?' 11 They said, “So this return is an obvious loss!” 12 But only, it will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)]. (See Verse 37:19). 13 to bring them out of their graves and back to life on the earth's surface. 14 Has Moses' story reached you? 15 When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 That “Go to Firaun – he has rebelled.” 17 Then say: Have you (a desire) to purify yourself: 18 [If so,] then I shall guide thee towards [a cognition of] thy Sustainer, so that [henceforth] thou wilt stand in awe [of Him].'" 19 So he showed him the great sign, 20 but he belied and disobeyed, 21 and hastily turned away, 22 and gathered his people together 23 and proclaimed, and he said, 'I am your Lord, the Most High!' 24 Allah therefore seized him, in the punishment of this world and the Hereafter. 25 Surely in that is a lesson for him who fears! 26
