The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those that pluck out vehemently 1 by the angels who gently release the souls of the believers, 2 And by those who float in space, 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 On the day when the trembling one will tremble. (The disbelievers will certainly taste the punishment.) 6 And there will follow it the next blast. 7 Hearts, that Day, will tremble, 8 Unable to lift their gaze. 9 They say: 'What, are we being restored as we were before, 10 Even after we are crumbled bones? 11 They said: That then would be a return occasioning loss. 12 But it will be only a single blow, 13 When, behold, they find themselves over the earth alive after their death, 14 Have you received the story of Moses? 15 His Lord called to him in the Sacred Valley of Towa, 16 "Go to the Pharaoh who has become refractory, 17 "And say to him, 'Wouldst thou that thou shouldst be purified (from sin)?- 18 Then I will guide you to your Lord that you may come to fear Him.'" 19 And thereupon he [went to Pharaoh and] made him aware of the great wonder [of God's grace]. 20 But he denied and disobeyed, 21 Then turned he away in haste, 22 And he summoned all his people, 23 “I am the supreme lord of you all.” 24 But Allah did punish him, (and made an) example of him, - in the Hereafter, as in this life. 25 Lo! herein is indeed a lesson for him who feareth. 26
