By those that pluck out vehemently 1 By those who gently draw out (the souls of the blessed); 2 by the angels who float (in the heavens by the will of God), 3 Then outpace the others swiftly 4 and by those who regulate events. 5 On the Day, the shiverer shivers 6 And the second followeth it, 7 hearts upon that day shall be athrob 8 Their eyes humbled. 9 They say: 'What, are we being restored as we were before, 10 even after we have been reduced to bones, hollow and rotten?” 11 They have said, "Such a resurrection will certainly be a great loss". 12 It will only be a single blast, 13 And lo! they all shall appear on the surface. 14 Has Moses' story reached you? 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 saying 'Go to Pharaoh, he has become exceedingly insolent, 17 "Tell him 'Do you have the inclination to become pure?' 18 And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'" 19 Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign. 20 but he cried lies, and rebelled, 21 and brusquely turned his back [on Moses]; 22 and gathered his people and declared: 23 Saying: "I am alone your lord, the highest of them all." 24 So God seized him for the punishment of the Hereafter and this world. 25 Indeed in this is a lesson for one who fears. 26
