The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By those who drag forth to destruction, 1 and those that blow gently, 2 By the lone stars floating, 3 By the angels hastening, 4 And by those angels who arrange to do the Commands of their Lord, (so verily, you disbelievers will be called to account). 5 The day the convulsive (first blast) shatters convulsively 6 Followed by the second blast, 7 Hearts will pound loudly on that day, 8 While eyes are downcast 9 They say: Shall we indeed be restored to (our) first state? 10 “When we have become decayed bones?” 11 They said, “So this return is an obvious loss!” 12 However, it will only take a single blast 13 So they will immediately be in an open plain. 14 Has there reached you the story of Moses? - 15 When his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa. 16 "Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds: 17 Then say: Have you (a desire) to purify yourself: 18 Then I will guide you to your Lord that you may come to fear Him.'" 19 So Moosa showed him a magnificent sign. 20 Yet he belied and disobeyed. 21 and hastily turned away, 22 So he gathered the people, and proclaimed. 23 Saying, "I am your Lord, Most High". 24 So God seized him for the punishment of the Hereafter and this world. 25 Verily herein is lesson for him who feareth. 26
