The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence; 1 and gently take it away; 2 And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming 3 By the angels hastening, 4 And direct affairs by command, 5 One Day everything that can be in commotion will be in violent commotion, 6 There will follow it the subsequent [one]. 7 hearts will be throbbing, 8 and their eyes will be humbled. 9 They say: 'What, are we being restored as we were before, 10 When we have become bones decayed! 11 They said: That then would be a return occasioning loss. 12 Surely they will need no more than a single stern blast, 13 and behold! They will all come out in the open. 14 Has not there come to you the story of Musa? 15 How his Lord called him in the holy vale of Tuwa, 16 "Go unto Pharaoh - for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of what is right 17 And say: 'Would you like to grow (in virtue)? 18 And that I guide you to your Lord, so you should fear Him? 19 And he showed him the greatest sign, 20 but he denied it as false and disobeyed, 21 Then he turned away, deliberating, 22 Then he gathered and cried aloud, 23 and proclaimed, "I am your supreme Lord," 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the hereafter and the former life. 25 Verily in this is an instructive warning for whosoever feareth (Allah). 26
