By oath of those who harshly pull out the soul. (Of the disbeliever) 1 By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers); 2 By the angels who glide swimmingly, 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 And direct affairs by command, 5 One Day everything that can be in commotion will be in violent commotion, 6 to be followed by further [convulsions], 7 hearts will be throbbing, 8 Cast down will be (their owners') eyes. 9 They say: “Shall we indeed be restored to life, 10 "What! - when we shall have become rotten bones?" 11 They said: That then would be a return occasioning loss. 12 But all it will take is a single blast, 13 And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface. 14 Have you heard the story of Moses? 15 When his Lord called upon him in the holy valley, twice, 16 'Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent. 17 And say: 'Would you like to grow (in virtue)? 18 And that I guide you to your Lord, so you should fear Him? 19 Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign. 20 But (Pharaoh) rejected it and disobeyed (guidance); 21 and hastily turned away, 22 then he mustered 23 And said, "I am your most exalted lord." 24 So God seized him for the punishment of the Hereafter and this world. 25 Verily herein is lesson for him who feareth. 26
