The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence; 1 And those who undo the bonds gently, 2 and float [through space] with floating serene, 3 and the outstrippers (angels), outstripping, 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 The day on which the quaking one shall quake, 6 followed by the succeeding, 7 hearts will undergo terrible trembling, 8 and eyes will be humbly cast down. 9 They say: 'What, are we being restored as we were before, 10 What! when we are rotten bones? 11 They will say: 'Then we are returned lost' 12 But it shall be only a single scare, 13 When, behold, they find themselves over the earth alive after their death, 14 Has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 15 When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 and directed him: “Go to Pharaoh, he has rebelled, 17 Then say thou: wouldst thou to be purified? 18 Then I shall guide thee unto thy Lord so that thou shalt fear. 19 So he showed him the greater sign; 20 But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed. 21 Further, he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 And he summoned all his people, 23 Then he said: I am your lord, the most high. 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the hereafter and the former life. 25 Indeed in this is a lesson for one who fears. 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
