Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
