[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
